I'm sorry to hear about Sir Ohm!  It is so hard to lose one of the animals we come to think of as part of the family.  It isn't being a crybaby to mourn someone you loved.  We all try to second-guess ourselves when something happens, wondering what we could have done that would have prevented it.  Don't be hard on yourself for hindsight--remember that you gave him a good life!  
Maybe one day soon you'll go out and find new lambs and there will be a little "Ohm-let" waiting for you.
