[Jacob-list] sick lamb

Possible pneumonia?  is the cough chesty or more like throat clearing?  I 
had a lamb of similar age with pneumonia a couple years ago, similar 
symptoms,  vet recommended Naxcel over other antibiotics but said lamb 
probably wouldn't make it.  Obviously didn't know Jacobs--in 4 days the lamb 
went from barely walking to running so fast and dodging so well I couldn't 
catch it even in the barn  without using a small panel to funnel her into a 
sharp corner.  Vet also said that without testing no way to tell if it would 
spread, but the majority of problems like that in young lambs are not 
contagious and are a result of inhaling fluid during birth or a slightly 
weak respiratory or immune system in an individual, and spread wasn't really 
a worry.  I isolated lamb, mom and sibling just in case, but no symptoms in 
any of the others ever appeared
