[Jacob-list] Jacob Sheep for training herding dogs???

I was asked is Jacob Sheep were suitable for training Border Collies.  I have no experience with herding dogs.  I have heard it said that Jacob Sheep are not the best choice as they have less flocking instinct than most breeds.  Is this true?  Is anyone training herding dogs with Border Collies??
