I thought some might be interested in this story on NPR (All Thins Considered, Thursday, Dec 30) that included a discussion of Robert Bakewell and his work on sheep breeding. Our Jacob Sheep managed to miss most of the developments that Bakewell brought on, but it is interesting stuff.
