I agree with the sentiment that people should not judge what they do not 
know.  We just had our county fair and my neighbor had similar problems 
with a chicken. 
I do want to come to the judges possible defense on his use of the phrase 
"my country".  I have heard this phrase before and always thought of it as 
a shorthand way of saying "my part of the country".  Just a way of 
referring to an area of geography.  I am from Missouri, so this may be a 
mid western phrase.  Then again, he may just be a secessionist.
