I don't understand why the AGM is so late.  My question would be was there other conflicts in June and July 
that would push this off into August.  

CeCe and their staff have gone out of their way to have a Jacob Class when other fairs in the area could care less. They and everyone who attends (public) really look forward in seeing our breed.  They even have been trying to obtain better  judges for wool breeds not just meat breeds because they really want to promote the wool sheep.  You know this.  And they pay top premiums and pay the day you leave.  Now what fair have you attended that does that.  

If we lose the class we lose it.  I will enter my flock and if it does go so be it.  I am sad and disappointed with the whole JSBA.

  Yes, the 2007 JSBA AGM will be the first weekend in
  August this year...and, yes, it will conflictw ith
  anything else that might be scheduled for the first
  weekend in August--including the NJ State Fair.

  We did the best that we could in picking a date for 
  the 2007 JSBA AGM.

  As you may recall, we had a record number of Jacobs
  and Jacob Breeders attend the Garden State Sheep &
  Fiber Festival last September.  Some of those
  individuals, although members of JSBA, aren't likely
  going to attend the 2007 AGM.  If those individuals
  are made aware of the Jacob Show at the Garden State
  Fair...they might want to participate.  Or, we can let
  CeCe know of the conflicting dates this year, and not
  plan for a Jacob Show at that event this year.

  Please let me have your thoughts.
