[Jacob-list] AGM date

Is this my understanding that the AGM is now going to be the first weekend in August. I know you are all out there on the west coast but the AGM does move around and there are people in this area who do participate at the AGM and maybe the Sussex County Fair.  Let me know if this is going to be a new date that the JSBA is aiming for.

  Doesn't JSBA have insurance already?  In the past, when I needed either proof of insurance or additional insred certificate for a fair I was working my agent did it for no charge (and $1,000,000 is not a large amount of insurance). This is a standard business thing that insurance companies do all the time.

  As a matter of course, whenever you are at a "sponsored event" the insurance company should be told about it - just in case.......

      My humble opinion...
      The Fairgrounds sounds like it would be much easier since it's already set up for sheep and a week later wouldn't be a problem for us.  In fact the further away the date gets from the Black Sheep Gathering weekend, the better it will probably work for the Oregon people.

      PS will the fairgrounds require 'event/liability insurance'?  That's something Sandy Van Liew ran into when she was planning the AGM for Oregon several years back.
