As for roses, they are the favorite snack of all my sheep.  Doesn't matter
what kind, or if it's my favorite, they head straight for it.  So I have to
be on guard duty anytime they're in the back or front yards.

I was thinking of planting osage orange because I had heard they made a good
hedgerow, but mostly because I think they fruit is really cool.

Neal - Did you say you have planted them?  Do they grow well in our southern
clay?
