The ONLY time I have a problem starting is during cold weather (not when
starting cold in warm weather). The problem is that the engine starts
without excessive cranking (it needs only one or two turns), and then
immediately stops. It will start immediately after that, although sometimes
it is a little rough for a second or two. I'll check things out tomorrow.

Thanks to you all for the suggestions.
