[W126 Coupe] Re:HI IDLE

As this is my first post for the year"Happy New Year To Everyone"

Since I have got my car running again I have noticed the idle speed has 
increase from 750rpm to 1200rpm,I have cleaned the idle air valve with carb 
cleaner and removed a lot of black carbon,having viewed the archives It 
would appear to have developed a vacuum leak or the  idle air valve has 
changed since cleaning.

    I might use hose clamps on the push-on hoses just to make sure,the 
question is is it OK to adjust the idle screw or does that only change 
mixture,the cd-rom does'nt really specify.
