84.  Mike, you probably have the soldered harness vs the newer plug type 
seat switch.  That is a perfect candidate for dipping in a container of 
contact cleaner and leaving it attached to the door.  Remove power fuse 
first.  A quick test before dis-assembly of door trim is to pull the seat 
elevation (horizontal) plastic and work the posts to either side of the 
center pin to se if you can get them to respond.  Do the same for front to 
back travel by working the center pin by hand.  I found you can get a little 
more travel on the pins this way.  Work close to the trim bezel to avoid 
damaging a pin (post) on the switch.
