Bill,
Are you sure about that? I could have sworn there was an arrestable
amount of speeding inmy driver's handbook (of course over 4 years things
could change). Also, I'm 99% positive in VA 25 over in a 55 or higher
zone is automatically reckless operation.
Richard

You can be arrested for driving 10 mph over the limit it depends on the
circumstances. There is no set limit where it requires an arrest! It's
called Driving to Endanger/Reckless Operation.

Bill, that million was obviously just meant to mean that no matter what
I'm doing I like to leave the left open for someone who may be doing
faster (i.e. don't be one of those people who says, well I'm doing 80 in
a 70, that's pretty fast, I'll just stay in the left). As far as your
fine formula, what state are you in that there is no jail time/license
revocation?
Richard

Richard the car that's moving back and forth out of the lane catches
more eyes! I like the middle lane because you have more options in case
of an emergency! Also (a radar secret) the greater the angle (cosine
effect) of the radar unit the lower the speed-reading of the target
vehicle!
Yes if your alone on the highway, expressway, freeway etc, it just
doesn't matter what lane your in doing a million mph. So don't make
believe you're out front on the last lap of the Daytona 500 unless you
want to PAY the prize!
Someone asked about fines for speeding, it's a simple formula: $10.00
for each mph over the limit! So 100 mph in a 65 mph is $350.00 not
counting insurance hikes and points on your license!

Now Bill, you say stay in the fast lane...isn't that the lane that the
has a closer eye kept on it? I use the left as it should be used: a
passing lane. If I'm doing 1million mph I'll still go back to the right
if it's empty since the left should be there in case someone is doing 2
million.
Richard
