Well, there Should be pressure in the system when the car is sitting. 
When I crack my fuel lines to/at the injectors, I get a Very healthy
spray of fuel.

Speaking of cracking fuel lines, when my fuel distributor was bad I
didn't get any fuel from some cylinders when I cracked the fuel lines,
with the rebuilt I do (though I don't think any cylinder ever gave a
spray with the engine off, just fuel came out. With my bad distributor I
didn't get any fuel from some cylinders even with the engine running
btw). Don't know if this means anything to anybody, but I'm sure it
does.
