Richard,
Either the cold start sensor (4-pole switch) on the inlet manifold is not
functioning correctly or you have a weak battery, which in turn is not able
to support the cold start system components.
As for the oil sender, may just be dirty oil. Try changing the oil and oil
filter and check again.
