Which pretty much describes why I moved to Las Vegas. Everybody has 90 days
of bad weather. In your part of the country, it's called "winter" while in
LV, it's called "summer". Northeast: snow, sleet, gray days, blizzards -
Southwest: not good to go into your swimming pool before 8:00 PM, must use
your air conditioned car to go to your air conditioned office.

Not a tough choice. :-)

I've added a 9" duct into the garage so that's air conditioned also. We do
have LOTS of tourists here, but they pay most of the state taxes, so they
can be tolerated. Not much in the way of bugs, no tornadoes, earthquakes,
and hurricanes. We get a flooded street every once on a while because there
are no storm drains in the 'burbs, but the water is generally gone in a
couple of hours anyway. Oh yeah, a "high humidity" day is 39%! You do have
to watch out for a fast moving rice burner or '63 "Chebby" though. Saturday
I saw a Cobra, Bentley GT, and a fly yellow Ferrari 355 cruising around.
There are a couple of places here that will rent you a Ferrari, Viper, or
other exotic so you can be a "poser" too, though a clean, lowered SEC does
just fine!

I went to a private club last week at a high rise with multi-million dollar
condos and the valets both commented on how nice my SEC was looking - a good
sign we're driving classy vehicles!! They couldn't believe it was 18 years
old with about 200,000 miles on it. It would be fun to drive up in Barry C's
red one!

Take care and stay warm,

The older I get the more I mind the New England winter. However, we don't
have earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, bad hurricanes, 10,000 acres fires,
aligators, etc.
