Here's link on how to properly aim headlights
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html
I wasn't away of any left to right adjustment. The only ones I know of
are the up down adjustment and the angle of the kink in the beam
adjustment (the light has a flat part and then there's a kink where the
beam angles up). Both are plastic knob-like things (they would be knobs,
but they stick out far, they're 13mm hex) on the back of the headlight
unit. The third knob AFAIK is for the fog lights, though mine don't seem
to do anything.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Non-Euro Headlight Adjustment
What do I need to do to adjust my headlights? I find lots or Euro
adjustments by using the adjustment knob, but I don't have Euro lights,
nor do I have an adjustment knob. I couldn't find anything in the
archives.
What I do have are just the left/right and up/down adjustment screws on
each headlight. I need to know how far from the car to set the beams,
how high from the ground, and distance between centerlines of the left
and right lights. << File: ATT708370.txt >>
