[W126 Coupe] Bad Brakes

My brakes just do not feel right. The pedal is firm, maybe too firm, but
I 
have to really push down to get the coupe to stop. I have a lot of material
on 
the pads, new rotors, and new hoses all around. I just pressure bled them
when 
I changed the hoses. When I kill the motor the pedal raises under my foot
so I 
think the booster is OK. The vacuum tube looks OK, just a little yellow.

Could this be my calipers? Any advice for me? Thanks and beas regards.

Apply brakes.. hold pressure and start car does pedal move?
release pedal and reapply, hold pressure and turn off car.. does pedal move
then slowly go down?

Sounds like you need to check the diaphram in the master cyclinder
