Actually, Markus is somewhat correct in touching on the topics. First,
yes, I am extremely busy with two completely different job descriptions.
Secondly, since our great lost counterpart, Andy M., has left the site
hinting of security breaches of the webserver, etc., we've been spending
the last few weeks overhauling the server security access for all the
files on the server. BTW, this is the reason that mail to the Admin
account may be held for approval by the list moderator. This will
continue for a few more weeks until all the list files are secured and the
approval requirement is released. Bear with us. At least this list is
free for all to enjoy.
Speaking of the spring meet, the time is coming close. Let's start
firming up a head count for the spring meet. The Mercedes-Benz clubs in
Michigan AND Ohio will be meeting for the annual tech event along with
Bendix, Hunter Engineering, and Alloy Wheel Repair TM on that same day.
Also, Snap-On, All European, and Motorwerks will contribute free prizes
for attendees. For us coupesters, you'll have access to a 16,000 square
foot service facility with a $40000 alignment rack, a $22000 wheel and
tire mounter/balancer, $25000 Star Diagnosis equipment, and every other
know high-end tooling comfort known to man at your disposal.....so bring
your parts and your tools and the shop with 11 service bays that rivals
most dealerships will be open for us all to use that weekend.
