G'Day Ken,

There are a few different brands, even some 12V motor powered. The one
most mentioned is the Topsider.

The Topsider and other brands are more often available at boating
supply stores and outlets, because motors in boats are often very
difficult to 'drain' oil from.

I've modified my Topsider, by removing the lightweight supplied tubing
that goes all the way to the bottom of the oil pan. and replacing it
with 1/2" OD - 3/8"ID fuel line. This new tube empties my 7.5 quart
system in less than 2 minutes. Bam <al la Emeril>. Now the oil is in
the container which can be carried to the oil recovery station for
disposal. Very slick, no mess, no crawling under the car, easily done
in your tuxedo without getting dirty. :-)

Suction is the way the MB dealers change oil in all MBs since the early
'70s. And least you think that it doesn't work as well as draining,
many people have tried it and then opened the drain screw and not had
one drop come out.
