Dan, it only goes down the first inch or so; the flared area where the 
dip-stick O-ring normally seats. It sucks just as well, but much 
faster. It actually works just like the dealer's tool works. And it 
doesn't collapse from the heat like the little stock tubing does. Try 
it, you will be amazed.
