That is the same problem I am having with both my Mustang and the 560SEC. Tying to find and understated deck is hard these days. It seems they are all trying to cater to the "The Fast & The Furious" crowd with all the flashiness. However, the Kenwood EZ-500 looks pretty interesting as well as the Sony CDX-F7715X, Nacamihi CD45z, and a couple Clarion Pro Audio decks.

I'll probably send my 10-12 year old Eclipse 5301 deck back to Eclipse for refinishing or button replacement since it looks like an OEM deck in my 92 Mustang. It works perfecly, but some of the paint/silkscreening has worn off the buttons. Too bad it doesn't play MP3s or have satellite radio capability, but that's ok.

BTW, does anyone know what size the door and dash speakers are in an 89 560 SEC?

Theft is an issue where I am and when the JVC is turned off you cannot tell that there is a stereo fitted from the outside. As I said in my email the unit is very understated, all the other decks I looked at including the Eclipse units looked out of place IMHO.

Matt.
