Powder coating will be difficult, if at all possible, the last 4 grilles I
have had were made from a plastic substrate.  Doesn't powder coating require
the piece to be all metal, and several thousand degrees?

And yes, that's FOUR grilles in about as many years.  That's why I gave up
and installed the mesh, and touchup the paint chips in the grille with a
Sharpie marker.  *sigh*

I have also gone through 1 headlight lens, 2 windshields, 2 foglight lenses,
and both of the side pieces of trim surrounding the windshield, and
currently need to replace ANOTHER!  Also, blown out 2 tires, flatted 3
others via nails/tacks, and cracked another rim. Long distance drives in
SoCal really suck with all the crap people toss out of their window, and
crap that falls off the back of trucks.
