I had thought about doing that. The only downside is that it'll take a lot
of time to generate such images and they're seperate images that need to be
uploaded to a web server (if you're putting it online). On a small map,
not a problem. But if you ran a script to generate planet maps for every
body in your 200x200x200 sector... :-)

On my to-do list was some sort of city/population distribution generation
(if so desired) for the generator. It wouldnt be terribly detailed, but
would give a general idea of how the population was dispersed. I dont
think actually placing settlements on maps would work at this
point. Unless there's already an FWE map generated for the body that could
be referenced, it would just be purely random placements.
