Thanks for your reply, see mail below.
For all - I have included the links to the sites where I downloaded the flat
maps for all the planets and moons in our solar system.

Ok - I look forward to the next beta test.

Not v 1.10d I take it? Are you referring to the Export as a Graphic? OK -
no worries. I'll work with the HTML sector reports - copying and pasting
the details. It would be great to export data about a star map with planets
included and other information to a CSV so it could be used with some db
software to present material on the web. Unless you can produce a web
enabled version of AstroSynthesis which will run from a db on a server?
Probably too far in the future for that level of complication.

OK - I do this but even with this I find that the stars can be moved with
the cursor keys on the keyboard (unless I make sure that I select the hand
icon in the Tools menu) - I did this with Sol - which wasn't too much a
problem as I could move it back to the cross hairs of the sphere grid I'd
set up for the sector, but I had to scratch the work if I made this mistake
with another star. I like to slide to a particular star then swivel around
viewing the star map from that vantage point. I can see any duplications
that I need to clear up.

Ok - It's a nice to have. Won't expect this any time soon. With the export
function I mentioned above one could create such star map with another
application. The map I gave the link for - doesn't have the X,Y,Z coords
that Astro Synthesis uses.

I'd be happy to buy that. I suppose you can bundel 1.5a with AS as you do
already and if people want a better version they can buy version 2. I would
prefer to use a product that was fully compatible with AS which profantasy's
product isn't really, for example, I would assume that the new cloud feature
for planets, that you will implement for Astro 2, wouldn't work with PF's
FTP. Would version 2 of FWE cost as much as FTP? I find that a bit pricey
for what it is.

Agreed - if I provide the sites where I copied them all from -
For Saturn and its moons:
http://www.planetary.org/saturn/images.html
For Jupiter and its moons:
http://www.space.com/reference/jupiter/maps.html
http://planetscapes.com/maps/jupiter.html
http://maps.jpl.nasa.gov/jupiter.html
and one site for all the major planets.
http://gw.marketingden.com/planets/planets.html
Another place to get a picture of the moon
http://www.skyhighgallery.com/how-to-planets.htm
For those of you interested in icosahedral maps for these planets (why you'd
want them - apart from Mars and Earth - I don't know).
