Yes. There are many long examples.

I think that there might some very nice possibilities with white playing
e3, Bd3, Bg6, e4
or
e4, Be2, Bh5, Bg6
and black something like that too and somewhere later in the game
with some nice modifications only 2 positions (not 2x2) would be possible.
