 Something is wrong between  
 1252 and 1302 moves. How many Knights left?
Only one White Knight and Black has no Knights moves!
  So, answer is 1252*2-1=2503. What is different from solution Yefim's  by 3 
(yes, I  missed 3 tricky captured pawns c2, c7, g2).
