In connection with Roberto▓s suggestion:
There can be numerous extensions of Dupont▓s original idea, which in its turn is an extension of the general idea of SPGs focusing on conditions of mate, first emphasized by Alexander Kisliak (in his paperback The Monarch Dethroned he presented 64 SPGs with black king mated on all squares). Lots of already existing and future records of this sort are / will be trivial and computer-made; few can be expected to be genuine works of art. In my opinion Robero▓s proposal does provide room for artistic search, due to the involvement of Pronkin theme.
Here is another possible extension √ an instant response, dating back to about a month ago, to Dupont▓s idea from Ukraine▓s PCCC delegate Yevgeny (Yevhen) Reytsen.
The mate-delivering piece captures its stationary ⌠counterpart■ in the course of the solution.
