Hello,
Here are the retros submitted to 19 solvers in the retro solving

Add a piece on a5 and mate in 2 (15+9+1?) (3 points per solution; number
of solutions is not indicated)
VII
RB1Sk3/RPp2pp1/K1p1p3/p1P5/4p3/1P6/P1PP1P2/2q5
Shortest path by wSd8? (12+9) (10 points)
VIII
1qk1K1SQ/pprpprpR/2p2p1p/7P/8/2P5/1P1PPPP1/1SB2B2
Minimal number of moves since first move by wTh7? (14+12) (10 points)
All problems are originals for Phenix.
VI is given here in an amended version, as the version submitted in
Messigny was unfortunately incorrect.
Some points were given for incomplete solutions in VII and VIII with
additional questions such as "which captures are determined?" in VII or "who is
to move?" in VIII...
Before the competition, I thought this could be a tough set. Anyway, the
new French Champion Thierry LE GLEUHER succeeded to solve everything in the
given time of 2 hours, losing only 1 point due to a slight mistake!
Best,
Michel
