Die Schwalbe and Orbit announce the Roberto Osorio’s 55th Jubilee Tourney for orthodox proofgames, 

Theme: Embracing non-contemporary twin pieces (see article at http://sanguis.xs4all.nl/chess/RO55JT.pdf ). Thanks Joost. 
The theme can be shown anywhere on the board and the diagram can show non standard material. Multiple phases allowed and very welcome. 

Evaluation: the problems will be evaluated as a balance of their thematic contents, originality and general quality. Please indicate the thematic moves in the solution. 

Closing date: june 30th 2009
