Happily the asymmetry (unusually with respect to diagonal reflection)
came for free...

If we want the added bK not in check, we can resort again to the
construction 2bq1b2/1pppppp1/8/8/8/8/8/4K3, or (same unit count
but with two bP's replacing the bB's) 6q1/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/8/4K3.
