If you assume it is a legal move, then "1-pawn capture chess" becomes
more or less "No pawn can be captured except at the last half-move"
(simply because the game is over when a pawn is captured).
I don't think this resulting condition is as interesting as claiming
that 1.e4 d5 is illegal (auto-check). Moreover it may lead to some
paradox: consider the position W: Ka1 Pa2, B: Ra8 Pb3. What about
a2xb3? One might say this is illegal as in orthodox chess, but one
might say this is legal as the game is over after a2xb3 (and thus
black can't capture the white King at his next move).
