Hello, I have a little idea I thought would be fun.
Consider a PG in 5.5 that ends with e8=Q# double queen check, with these
three pieces in a fixed place: wQd7e8 & bKf7.
One such PG is 1. d4 e5 2. d5 Bc5 3. d6 Ne7 4. dxe7 f6 5. Qxd7+ Kf7 6.
e8=Q#.
The challenge is to find all such PGs. A little solving for the lot of you!
My summer break has begun. So who knows, I may come up with more topics for
everyone here over the sumer.
Sincerely,
James Malcom
