[Frances Morey]

For all the repititious shots of Afgans shooting off their weapons there is
little to indicate that they ever hit anything. There seem to be no corpses,
in body bags or lying about, just warriors in robes with those head-dresses
that are designed to keep blades from splitting their skulls. Is it just me,
or have any of you noticed this absense of casualties which one would expect
to be broadcast for all the world to see? They don't even act like there is
combat going on--like guys ducking in trenches. They are just so out there,
firing off their guns as if this was a photo opportunity to show off their
weapons.
