I wrote:

It came back to me that the Army general's son, 
Bobby Neuwirth's bodyguard when exploring 
insalubrious neighborhoods in the Arab world in 
search of drugs, was named Moran. 

The son's ominous name is nomen omen, life once
again imitating art.
