I would say a mixture of "Ahm gonna git that SOB 'cause he tried to kill my
daddy" and "What is good for Chevron is good for America." (To paraphrase
Mr. Wilson of the Eisenhower administration.)

Everything about Richard Perle reeks of a morbidly grubby desire for power.
He loves being a "power broker", the attention, the meals, the "other
benefits" and, of course, the really big fees. He is the ultimate
Capitalist Turd in the Ethical Business punchbowl.
