boat dreaming

Do you recall that Jim Weiler came into a pile of money 15 years or so ago
and he bought this really nice big sail boat. It was on the Pacific coast of
Mexico and he had it berthed there. The boat slowly rotted away and was
taken over as a derilict by the harbor. It never sailed a foot and he lived
on it for a few months as best as I can recall. It was a financial disaster.
Boats I have had were all that. I have owned a passel of sail boats and a
couple of bass boats. They are sort of like horses and dogs a lot of
trouble. Horses are costly and if you don't insure them they can be a total
loss. I lost a heap of dollars on two horses that just fell over dead which
is a thing that they do.
As for dogs they bite people and kill chidkens or at least the ones I had of
late did and they were very very stupid.
No pets is my adage. THat way you do not have to worry about what to do when
you go out of town for a month or a year.
