[AGL] Fwd: Texas: Stop Shoot First Shooter in his tire tracks...

I had a pair of pet racoons when I was in elementary school. Their mother had died in a spring trap and my brother rescued them. One morning they got into the house, climbed into my bed and began trying to wake me up. I thought it was my mother trying to fix my hair for school and I yelled, "It's Saturday, leave me alone." When I opened my eyes there were Rosco and Bosco, sitting by my pillow. They were babies when we got them and they stayed with us as they matured. They were amazing pets--figured out the latch and let themselves out of the cage. We lived near the Medina river and one day they just up and returned to the wild.

Jon, I'd have to say the live and let live is my top rule if I can. For
instance, that possum from wayback discussions with Jimhe/she walks
around here after dark checking for food and water, but we just close
it off til morning. The cat has taken to staring at it as it mosies
around. Clearly, it thinks its home. It runs when the lights come on.
If we open the cabinets and find it there's no hissing, or teeth. It
just stares at us. All throw away food goes to the yard, so its only
turned over the trash once. I guess, so long as it stays off the table
and such, we'll just live with it. mm
