[flow-tools] flow-tool graphs (newbie questions)

This is all very new to me so I apologize if my questions are contained
in a FAQ somewhere. 

Just installed flow-tools, and it is gathering data. What is the
prefered way to generate graphs from this data, such as the ones I see
on people's web pages?  Is it all part of the flow-tool set or are other
applications required?  For example, do I need to use RRDtool to format
the data? Or FlowScan? Or both?  Is Cflowd even necessary?
