[Jacob-list] What's in a name?

This is a two-fold email. First, the naming issue. When I registered our
first Jacob, I was so excited about having a registered Jacob I hadn't
thought about a prefix. Rather than using something I might later regret or
wait until the creative juices began to flow I just went with our name. I
thought our farm name, Ivy Brook Meadows, was too long. I was right. When
I am doing a bunch of registrations I wish I had just used "Unz." Finallly
I got smart (er) and now make copies of the form with pertinent info already
filled in. As to individual names, we have been using the same letter as
the dam for the most part. But as Laura, I think said, I am running out of
"M" and "S" names. At least ones that I would want to use on a beautiful
Jacob. Once in awhile a lamb just yells out a certain name. Lederhosen and
Bramble come to mind.
The second reason for this email is to let breeders know my website,
www.ivybrookmeadow.com is finally updated, thanks to some help from Katrina.
I was determined to do it myself, well sort of, but had to call on Katrina
for the photo part. The biggest changes are on the ram lamb and ewe lamb
pages which now have the '07 lambs up, at least the ones I think would make
good breeding stock. I have tried to send this info to the list but it
doesn't come through. So I am using the reply route, hoping this works.
We also have a new email address, runzicker at verizon.com.
Thanks for your indulgence.
