Daniel:

Check the foil 30 amp fuse in the separate holder just a few inches to =
the side of the main fuse box and bolted to the inside of the engine =
firewall.  Jumper to see if your fan kicks on.  If it does, just pick up =
a new foil fuse at MB for under $3.  If it does not kick on, I would =
access the fan under the passenger foot well and (WITH IGNITION OFF) =
force the fan blades by hand to see if the motor is frozen.  If frozen, =
you'll need to pull the fan and see if a little lube and inspection of =
the spring/brushes will allow it to be re-vitalized.  If not, you are in =
need of a replacement unit.  If the blades move freely, apply 12 volts =
directly to the fan leads to narrow the problem to either the fan speed =
resistor or possibly the ACC head unit.

Good luck.   Timing on these kinds of things is always bad.
