The mixture screw can adjust the idle speed on the 560
SEC. The screw makes contact with the cis metering
unit. If you adjust the screw so the metering plate
is open further at idle, the engine will respond with
a higher idle. I have to adjust my idle air speed by
the mixture screw since my differential pressure is
well beyond the factorys specs due to the added
supercharger system.
Dan's problem sounds like the idle air valve or a
vacuum leak like you said.
