[W126 Coupe] European wheels

Slid into a curb and ground (not just bent) the driver's side 18" AMG monoblocks. A local company came to the house, picked up the rims, welded, machined, polished, powder coated and clear coated and balanced in two days. Looks perfect. Cost me $125 per wheel. I doubt you could buy the rim for a 3 piece wheel for that price...

The guy probably repairs more BBS / Oz wheels simply because one is more
likely have it repaired - due to the fact it is a more expensive wheel in
    the first place.

You bend/kerb a one piece non-BBS alloy, you simply bin it.

But damage a multi-piece BBS and you'll want to repair it as the cost of
replacing it is far greater than the cost of refurb. And if you do bin it,
what will you replace with ? Nothing better than a BBS or OZ wheel out
    there...

It's like damaging your SEC and damaging you daily driver Ford Fiesta. Dent
the Fiesta, you'll live with it, dent the SEC, you'll get it in the workshop
asap.....I bet workshops see more MB's and Beemers than other car makes....
