How long ago did you do the conversion? Some MB's just do not respond
well to switching to R134a. If the conversion was done some time ago
chances are you are low on refrigerant as R134a will perpetually leak
from our systems. When you did the conversion did you replace all the
low/high pressure and temp sensors? The pressure bugger is rather
prone to failing and not allowing the compressor to engage.
If the compressor won't engage I would see about getting a set of
gauges on there to see if you have enough refrigerant, if you do, I
would jump the compressor and see if that does the trick.
