Jonathan, thanks for the tip on wheels from later models that fit. I'm
thinking that might be a good way to go in terms of fitment and
cost.Shopping on-line, I see a lot of wheels that look like AMG clones that
are cast, instead of forged, heavier, thus increasing unsprung weight, which
compromises handling and braking--which is exactly what I don't want to
do--Richard touches on this when he talks about weight consideration. I'm
not only trying to 'pimp my ride' but also make the car handle better, with
the latter being the prime objective.
Paul, where in Southern California are you, I'm in Sacramento and two of my
kids are in LA.
