I would say that your ABS is engaging.  Now for the cause.  I would carefully
examine both front, wheel speed,  wire harnesses from inside the engine
compartment down to the ABS sensor.  There is a Tech. Service Bulletin talking
about the wire harness getting pinched and to replace it.  The point they
are talking about is right where the harness is held to the strut behind
the tire.  My thought is that the harness has gotten a broken wire and when
you brake and the front end dips the wire shorts out causing the ABS to
think the wheel has locked up.  Then as you drive away and the suspension
moves the short is relieved and the light goes out again.  You could also
test the resistance as stated in the archives on both front sensors... also
test them as someone is moving the front end of the car up and down as to
mimic stoping and rough roads.
