You can buy a pack of leads with clips at Radio Shack.  They are probably 22
ga. as I used one to test the ACC blower by jumping across the 30amp fuse.
The insulated wire was toasty in just a few seconds.  I went ahead and
bought just the alligator clips and made up a set of jumpers with some lamp
cord I had lying about.  So, 18 ga.stranded lamp cord is an improvement.

So, buy a set or make your own and do a better quality than the Radio Shack
stuff.

btw:  I've been buying the 5 qt Mobil1 jugs at Wal-Mart and then returning
the 5qt container to Wal-Mart with the waste oil for recycling.
