[W126 Coupe] AMG or Not

Don't know about the US market, been over here tooo long.  But over here,
where the SEL was sold, you can buy an AMG or Lorinser that is nothing but
effects or the whole schmear.  I have a Lorinser 500SEC that has the body
kit, wheels, exhaust etc... but no drive train modifications.  
They are almost impossible to tell apart by looking at the outside.. only
if you see the engine or data plate or original customizers slip or German
registration can you see if it is a complete or just effects model.  
Reason for this... well Taxes and Insurance go by Topspeed, HP and fuel
consumption as well as other things.. so folks like to have the AMG or Lorinser,
etc.. and not the higher costs included.  My 500SEC would cost $1000 a year
tax.. A full schmear Lorinser SEC $3000..  get it?
