Jack,
Its great to hear that your ABS is back working. What exactly was your 
problem with the ABS.
I have similar symptons.

Happy to say my mechanic has followed the instructions I got from this board
& my ABS now works perfectly. If I had not had this done he would not have
found the cracked wheel!!
The water I was getting in the boot in wet weather was coming in thru the
tail light seal. OK now.
Where can I get a workshop manual?
