The sensor system was dirty & a thorough clean by my mechanic fixed it. He 
thought that some noise might have been coming from movement in the cracked 
wheel when braking, because there was metal dust in the hub, although the 
cracks were very fine with none showing on the outside. I am glad he found 
it when he did. The wheels have been taken off several times before by tyre 
fitters & panel beaters, but no one noticed the cracks. It seems anyone with 
these wheels should have them minutely inspected.
