Funny how trends change.

In Europe, until the past few years, SEC's were favored lowered, black and
blackened out chrome.
Now most are into restoring these magnificent cars back to their true state.

Aftermarket taillamps were a big hit, but most are looking for the original
taillights again.
About the only trend that has remained is the clear front blinkers.

Ref changing the oil topside or pulling the plug. Being a mechanic and
car buff I have always and will always prefer pulling the plug when at all
possible. I can do an oilchange in about 15 minutes pulling the drain plug,
using a top side method (we have a professional unit here in the shop) it
can take twice that.
My thoughts would be if the oil is warm some sludge will run out with it
and I can look at the plug for metal on the magnet. WIth a sucker you don't
see if there is metal in the oil and only get sludge from where the tube
is.
The 3 Dealers I frequent here all drop the oil out the bottom.
